10 New 3D Printers & A New Material Added to Our Line-Up
November 6, 2014 – Stratasys Ltd. announced the launch of an astonishing 10 new high-performance 3D printers and a new advanced material that we are thrilled to add to our line-up. These products will allow users to improve competitiveness and produce high-end prototypes and manufactured parts quickly and more efficiently.
FDM Fortus 3D Production Systems
The new Fortus 3D production systems are designed to provide high-quality engineering grade parts that can be used to reduce the time to bring a product to the market, create jigs and fixtures for manufacturing, as well as produce low volume end-use parts. With four layer thicknesses to choose from, you can get the right balance between strength, detail, and FDM’s fastest build time. These systems also include a new digital touch-screen that allows mid-print adjustments without disrupting operations.
PolyJet 3D Printers with Triple-Jetting Technology
Objet260 Connex 1, 2 and 3 series
Objet350 Connex 1, 2 and 3 series
Triple-Jetting technology, first introduced earlier this year with the Objet500 Connex3, is now available in 6 new office-friendly sizes perfect for designers and workgroups. These multi-material 3D printers produce cost-effective prototypes, tools, injection molds in vivid color and amazing detail. They also increase productivity by providing fewer material changeovers and supporting VRML-exported CAD files.
New Desktop 3D Printer
The Objet30 Prime is the most advanced PolyJet desktop 3D printer. It works with 12 materials for specialized properties like flexibility and biocompatibility. It also delivers versatility with three print modes: high-quality, high-speed, and new draft mode, a fast, economical mode exclusive to the Prime.
New PolyJet 3D Printer with Soluble Support Technology for Fine-Detailed Parts
Soluble support material on the Objet Eden260VS 3D Printer allows you to print the most intricate, finely detailed PolyJet parts. Ideal for printing delicate research models or prototypes with small cavities like toys or cosmetic products, the Objet Eden260VS offers automated support removal for time and cost savings.
New ULTEM 1010 Material
Available first on the Fortus 900mc, ULTEM 1010 resin offers the highest heat resistance, chemical resistance and tensile strength of any FDM thermoplastic. This material is bio-compatible, steam sterilize-able, and food-contact certified – perfect for aerospace, automotive, food production tooling, and medical device manufacturing and functional prototyping applications.
